Gina Hemenway (She/Her, Ms.)

Teaching has been my life’s joy and what I have loved all my life. My educational background includes a BSED in education of the deaf and elementary education, an MSED in education of the blind and special education, college certification in orientation and mobility, current coursework in education of deaf-blind, and more college and workshop credits in education of the deaf, blind, and students with special needs incorporating a variety of teaching methods.  

I am excited to begin this chapter of my career at NWSDHH. I have always believed in their philosophy, because it gives children the best opportunities to learn the English language for communication and reading – the basis for all academic learning.
