Welcome to Northwest School for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing Children

Preschool to 8th Grade

Grounded in our highly effective teaching methods, we help children from preschool to 8th grade develop the communication skills they need. We provide the foundation for our students to thrive socially and academically – in the classroom, at home, on the playground and beyond.

Birth to Three

Children from birth to age three who are deaf or hard-of-hearing in King, Pierce, and Snohomish Counties may enroll in services at no cost to the family. We work together with families to maximize each child’s natural ability for language acquisition using both signed and spoken language.
