Cate Conlon (She/Her)
Teacher of the Deaf
Teacher of the Deaf, Preschool & Pre-K
I am a passionate educator with a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, specializing in Deaf and Hard of Hearing from Illinois State University. I have gained valuable experience working in a variety of deaf education environments, including Listening Spoken Language (LSL), one-on-one pull-out itinerant services, and Total Communication classrooms. My experience spans a wide range of learners, from ages 3 to 19, allowing me to adapt my teaching strategies to meet the individual needs of each student. I strive to create an inclusive, supportive learning environment that empowers all students to succeed.
I have just recently moved to Washington from Springfield Illinois. I am so excited to explore and get to know the city. In my free time, you can find me reading a book, taking a dance class, or in a coffee shop.
