Kenneth Teasley

Board Secretary

My name is Ken Teasley. I like airplanes. I like airplanes so much that I build and fly model airplanes, I can’t resist watching them fly overhead and I work at Boeing as a Propulsion Engineer on the engines for airplanes. Sometimes I even dream about airplanes. I have the privilege of being the Integrated Product Team Leader for the 737 Military Derivative airplanes. My wife Kathi and I have 3 daughters. Two of our daughters are deaf and attended Northwest School for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing Children. Kathi and I remember many years ago feeling lost at what to do when our daughters were diagnosed with deafness. Through a friend we found Northwest School for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing Children. We are so grateful we found the school. Over the years this school became more than just a school, it became family. Our children learned so much from this school and have greatly excelled as a result. I am honored to be selected to serve on the Board of Trustees. I look forward to working with the Board and the school to help further grow the amazing work that is happening here. I also look at this as a way for me to give back some of what the school provided to my children and my family.
