We

thrive.

Kenneth Alhadeff

President Emeritus

As a sixth-generation Seattleite, my family and I share a deep commitment to the region and to strengthening local organizations that promote social justice in the Puget Sound. NWSDHH is one of those organizations closest to my heart. Every time I visit I am inspired all over again by our School’s parents who make extraordinary sacrifices to ensure that deafness does not limit their children’s future; by the patience and determination of our gifted teachers; and by the hope and possibility I see in our students. This is rewarding work! In addition to my service on the board of NWSDHH, I am chairman of Elttaes Enterprises, the proud owner of the Majestic Bay Theatres, and a partner/producer of Junkyard Dog Productions and The 5th Avenue Theater. In 1997, together with my wife, Marleen, we established the Alhadeff Family Charitable Foundation. As someone committed to high-impact philanthropy in the Pacific Northwest, I invite you to visit us at NWSDHH and see for yourself how our school is changing lives.
