Supporting schools and families with deaf students who use SEE but do not attend NWSFHIC.
Community Outreach Service Professionals can
- Evaluate deaf & hard of hearing students for placement & program planning
- Train general education teachers & administrators working with deaf or hard of hearing students
- Help with IEP & 504 Plan development
- Facilitate the inclusion of D/HH students in general education settings
- Assist with SEE interpreter supervision, evaluation & interviews
- Review accommodations, modifications & assistive technology needs
